VoiceRx
A voice assistant that answers health questions on a phone call, from a curated set of health FAQs rather than the model’s memory.

How it works
One question, six steps
- You ask a question on the call
- Vapi turns it into text and calls the webhook
- FastEmbed embeds the question locally
- Qdrant returns the three closest health FAQs
- Llama 3.1 8B on Groq answers from those three
- Vapi reads the answer back
The problem
Plenty of patients have a phone long before they have a doctor. VoiceRx gives them someone to ask, on an ordinary call.
Decisions
Retrieve first, then answer
The model is never asked a health question cold. It gets the three closest entries from a curated FAQ set and writes its answer from them, so what a caller hears can be traced to a source.
